The client had a dead AirPort Time Capsule [Model number A1355] 3rd generation (Late 2009) model with 1 TB hard drive. The client required to transfer his data from the old faulty AirPort Time Capsule to a new AirPort Time Capsule [Model number A1470] 5th generation (mid 2013) with 2 TB hard drive and accordingly configure his Time Machine on his 24 inch iMac (Early 2008) model with 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and 320GB Serial ATA hard drive.
The Apple Mac engineers at The Mac Response Centre opened the defective AirPort Time Capsule and transferred the client’s data straight from the old Time Capsule hard drive to the new AirPort Time Capsule and configured the Time Machine to do backups to the new AirPort Time Capsule with 2 TB hard drive.
